The PriorityPath® Approach Summarised
success enhancement systems The Priority Systems® APPROACH

PriorityPath® offers clients an analysis that is immediately actionable.

Identification of the unique risk factors comes from knowledgeable sources associated with the organization.
This may include where appropriate:
  • Internal staff
  • Contractors
  • Customers
  • External regulatory agencies
  • Written reports
  • Other relevant sources
Personnel identified as part of analysis are given a personal, non-attribution interview that lasts between thirty minutes and one hour.

Immediately actionable cont'd...

Once information is collected and quantified, it is collated and formatted.
  • This information is returned for editing by those interviewed to ensure it is accurate, exhaustive and complete.

  • Management may invite others who were not interviewed to review the data and provide additional input. Once the data has been perfected, it is made available in either a booklet format or on the Internet where participants rate the relative significance of each risk and issue.

  • Ratings are used by Priority Systems® to prioritize the data and produce results that are reported by important groups and individuals.

  • Any confidential information remains confidential and is reported only to those with a need to know.
Once the prioritization process is completed, results are reported in booklets and diagrams.
  • The diagrams facilitate executive review where a large number of issues can be reviewed in a minimum amount of time.
    • These documents facilitate comparisons between and among participating groups (internal and external) and individuals. For example, the management team can compare its own high priority ratings with those of outside agencies, internal organizations, etc. Consequently, the high priority risk factors not only receive appropriate attention for removal or attenuation but the process brings unity and focus by directing attention to resolving the perceptual differences between and among groups and individuals.

  • Priority Systems® refers to this coming together as "Mission Alignment". Reports that compare individual ratings are only done with the concurrence of the individuals involved.
    • It provides assurance that the priority factors that are critical to key personnel are recognized and rigorously examined. It reduces the likelihood that surprises will overwhelm operations and provides comfort that the comprehensive thinking of knowledgeable people is being used to the best advantage of the organization.
The Priority Systems® approach to Risk and Issue management is unique, propriety, and sole source. It has been used by some of the best-managed companies in the world.
